Mormon No More follows the inspirational journey of Sal and Lena as they navigate their way out of the church, out of their marriages, and out of the closet, all while raising seven kids.

From the moment Sal and Lena's eyes met across a crowded Mormon ward party, something stirred inside them. The butterflies they had only heard about in movies fluttered in their stomachs for the first time, love songs suddenly made sense, it was an energetic rush they could not explain - an awakening. Giving in to their feelings meant going against everything they had ever been taught in the church and committing the ultimate sin. But having finally discovered the truth, they couldn't turn back. From that day forward, they've been treading a dangerous, uncharted path that risks alienation from their families, the scorn of their community and spiritual abandonment. Despite the hardship, they're happier than they have ever been. This four-part series captures the gut-wrenching, emotionally draining, and yet heartwarming task of reconstructing their lives while navigating their relationships with their ex-husbands, parents, friends and siblings.

And Lena and Sal are not alone. Their story intersects with other Mormon and ex-Mormon members of the LGBTQ+ community who wrestle with reconciling their identity with the church's prohibitive doctrine on same-sex relationships. Their gripping testimonies speak of shame and rejection, but the bravery of their actions shows us there is hope and happiness on the other side of fear.
